I know it's been a while, but Dan finally figured out what was wrong with the car. The fuel issue was the siphon hose on the drivers side had a crack. Replaced the hose and works perfect.

The other issue was the car stuttering and choking. It wound up being the throttle body. He said that there were a ton of issues with the 05 and 06 Mustangs, and he replaces at least 2 throttle bodies a month. Replaced the tb and she runs like a champ! Hope this helps.

Angry Car stalling

It's back again.... It died while I waiting in line 545am to get in FFF at Knotts. After the show, no problems. Drove to a place for an early dinner with no problems.....

While I was driving home from Knotts, my car died (while in traffic on the 5 in LA downtown) I was able to creep to the side of the highway and let the car sit for 15-20 mins. I sat near the highway idling for 15 mins and no problems . So I decided to drive home and I stop every two hours of driving. I would sit in the rest area a let the car idle. Idle would act up a little, then I would shut it off sit for 15 min.

Any suggestions will be helpful. Car has 57K (DD)

Thanks in adavance

Have you checked your throttle body? Dan at Pro-Dyno said he replaces a ton of TB's for 05-07's. Ford upgraded in 08. Mine was doing the same thing, Dan replaced the tb and perfect! Hope this helps.

Oh no...not again! Maybe clean your throttle body again. Do you have an SCT X3 to check the codes and/or data logs to see what the engine is doing just before it stalls?

I have a set of the blue factory 39lb injectors if needed. Make offer.

Make me wonder if your fuel pump isn't getting hot and dying. My 2001 did that a couple times and then just completely died. Luckily it wa sin my driveway. I had to get my neighbor to help push it up the driveway and into my garage. I wonder if you can't hook a gauge to your fuel line and tape it to your winshield while you drive and see what it tells you...
