For 40 bucks, they will just magically materialize, in place, on your car.

I had my Steeda strut bar bent to fit under the lid. It took the fabricator less than ten minutes and cost me $20. It looks and functions perfect and is a unique one-off.

pictures? I'm looking at a v-6 FRP brace. I have some spacers in my motor mounts to make the Saleen through bar work and I think if I remove the spacers I could get the v-6 brace to fit over the top?

I would also like to know how much I do not see it on your website. Also when installing do you have to remove the top part of the blower or does it squeeze through?

I have the chicane STB with the stock mounts and my only concern is what if one of the stock motor mounts either wears out or breaks..

Would the design of the Chicane bar damage the lid of the Saleen VI supercharger

If a motor mount broke the bar under the supercharger would probably be more of an asset than a liability. If the motor mount gives (which I have never heard of ever happening in one of these cars) the motor would drop on the oil pan and create all sorts of crank/rod issues.

Perhaps one reason for the motor mounts not giving out on these cars is due to their hydraulic fluid construction ?

On the other hand, I couldn't agree more with your post concerning the asset of having the chicane bar.. As your far better off in replacing the lid of the S/C rather than the cost of replacing an entire engine in the event a motor mount either gives out or breaks..
