Bright Atlantic Blue was not a color until 1998.

Laser Red, Black, White and Mystic were the 1996 SVT Cobra colors.

Either way, with those miles and given over 20% of Saleen Cobras for all years have changed hands recently, in last 18 months, $18,000 would be max you would get. 5,000 mile 96-98 Saleen Cobras are having trouble getting $25,000. Sorry, but just reality of market in this time period. Biggest trouble makers are value to hp of new Boss 302 and new Shelby GT500s. Can't beat the value of newer cars unfortunately and some f the older 05'+ cars. Dave is correct, Bright Atlantic Blue is a 98' SVT color.

96 #268 is a Moonlight Blue S281 that had a 4V swap done by a owner. It is in Tennessee now.

Yep, the fox Saleens and 351 excluded, the rest of the models are still flat or depreciating slightly, one can find a $25k 05 or 06 SC Saleen, it may have higher mileage but to some folks, it could be more fun to drive. Personally, I'm driven by the 85 to 04 market, I'd consider a Saleen/Cobra, but not so much the 05 and older... but if I could get an 08 or 09 Extreme or Dark Horse or Sterling edition for a good price that would be cool.

Reviving an old thread.... My apologies :)

How is this market looking like? It seems asking prices are pretty high and over NADA by quite a bit. Thoughts?

Saleen Cobras are rare and becoming desirable. Pieces are on the rise for these cars. Just what I have seen in the recent past.
