Default Q: 1989 Audio System?

In need of a little help. I have an 89 Saleen. It has all the factory audio components. I purchased a shorty antenna the other day from LMR only to find out that it won't fit. The antenna hole on the Saleen is much larger than that of a regular mustang. Anyone have a source for a shortie?

Next question. When I got to replace the speakers, is there any other surprises I should be anticipating? Is at all basically just stock Foxbody stuff or what?

I'm confused what you bought as far as a "shorty" antennae. Isnt it just the mast itself? That just unscrews from the base on the fender.

The one I bought, is much smaller than the factory one. Meaning the actual diameter of the factory is much larger than that of the after market shortie.
