Default Q: Total production for 2007 S281 SC?

Saleen is not giving me an answer on this, but I'm curious as to how many S281 SC's were made in 2007? I know I have #341, (1 of 20 with my options) but how many were actually made?

Thank you for any input.

Rick

The information posted about productions numbers is not correct if I'm reading it right on this website for my 2007. I've verified with Saleen my VIN# and the bumper number of my Saleen, so I'm not sure why they show 314 as the amount made for 2007 SC coupe, unless it's a typo and should be 341.

Please confirm.

We will look into our accounting numbers for the 2007 model year.

The bumper numbers are not in groups. For 2007 there were 1258 total cars built so SC models will have bumper numbers spread through this range and possibly higher since some bumper numbers are not created. Typically Extreme models have low bumper numbers but that is not a hard rule either. In 2006 there were 583 SC coupes and mine has bumper number 1296.

That's odd, you mentioned "In 2006 there were 583 SC coupes and mine has bumper number 1296". Yours is an SC coupe too? Now you really have me confused. I just wanted to arm myself with the correct knowledge when someone asks, you have #341, so how many did they make in 2007 for the S281 SC?

From 2005-2007, both the S281 3-Valve and S281 Supercharged models were grouped together.

The S281 Extreme model and the S302 Parnelli Jones edition each had their own serialization (bank of numbers).

So.... in 2007, you can have a...

07-0010 S281 (3-Valve & Supercharged share the same bank of numbers)

07-0010 S281 Extreme (separate)

07-0010 S302 PJ (separate)

Are we on the same page?

I'm looking at a 2007 S281 SC convertible. 15c Canadian car. Where can I find a list of possible options for the 2007 including what's new for 2007 model. Also how can I tell if this car has the Max Grip rear?

Lastly of the 122 SC convertibles does that include Canadian cars and is there a breakdown by color anywhere?
Thanks!

Here's the specs for 2007

Saleen has the info on the Canadian cars. Give them the VIN & bumper #. My understanding is the Canadian cars are not included in the production numbers. Maybe Dave can confirm this for us.

Thanks! It looks like the only option this car may not have is the Shaker 1000 and the Max Grip diff. If anyone knows how I can check to see if it has it our not it would be greatly appreciated.

Car is Alloy Clear coat with silver graphics and the upgraded Chrome wheels. I don't recall seeing this color very often.
