Q: Clutch replacement? - 2006 Extreme
I'm about to change my clutch on my 06 Extreme. Does the supercharger lid have to be removed to tilt the engine back? Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. I tried to search but maybe I missed it.
Thanks |

Mine didn't have to be. When I had a lid. They did say it would have made things easier though.

It really depends on if Saleen clearanced your firewall during production. It also depends on where your k-member sits on the bolts, and the motor mounts, etc. All those small fractions of inches make a small difference. Usually just a pole jack on the front of the engine gives much needed space along with a 3 foot extension with a wobbly!
