Default FS: XP parts - wheels & carbon fiber drivers mirror

I have all 4 magnesium wheels. Center caps, no stickers. Two are good but two are very rough. Previous owner tried removing the coating himself. Each wheel is missing one lug nut. Also a drivers side carbon fiber mirror, gel coat is peeling but otherwise good shape. Shoot me an offer...I'd like to keep the wheels and lug nuts together but if the offers right Ill separate. Or Ill sell mirror and wheels with all lugs.

Not sure how to take this comment. Yes its from the bounced around #35. I traded my old mustang for it. Sure its not a perfect example of a XP, but it sure fits the car seats better than the stang. Interior and paint are still pretty good, imo.

I know there are ppl that like these mirrors but since mine only has drivers side c.f. Ill sell it, and get at nice stock one to match the pass side. Same with the wheels, if they don't sell no big deal. I'm ordering more next week and these will just collect dust I guess...

Sorry if you took my comment the wrong way. I was only curious if this was #35 that sold on ebay recently, nothing more to my comment.
I started following the repair progress of it a few owners ago, back in '07. Congrats on the purchase

Thanks...I dont really know too much of the history other than finding posts about it online. The guy I got it from only had it two months. Other than wheels, tires, the 4.0 timing chain problem, cracked and mispainted, front bumper, leaky front pinion seal, windshield seal, door seal, and drivers mirror, ,,this is a perfect condition exploder!

Very interested in 10 lug nuts at a minimum and the center caps if you decide to separate them. Let me know.

BTW, the Carbon Fiber mirror is just a carbon fiber cover. Your stock mirror is hiding right under it. All you need to do is gently and with caution remove the carbon fiber cover. Don't waste time buying a whole new mirror.

Rims are all offset for XP8 which are either the front or rear rim offsets from the Mustang. I can't remember. The set as is will not fit a Mustang as two of the rims will not have right offset.

The big dollar item from your truck which is worth a lot of money is if you have the original XP8 carbon fiber insert steering wheel. That is worth big dollars and will fit the Mustangs as well. If you are liquidating, remove that steering wheel and sell it seperately. Most XP8s were not delivered with them anyway but they were also optional on some Mustangs. It is the big dollar item on your truck.

The XP8 body kit itself is probably worth more off the truck that on in this case. Sadly it is probably worth more selling the Saleen XP8 parts seperately and then scrap metal the truck if you had to. I had an XP8 for many years and restored it all except for the CF Steering wheel I could never find. Sold the truck and well there is just not really a big market for them anymore. The prices are just way, way down. The XP8 parts themselves are still pretty good. The wing is a big one too.

I am not promoting killing Saleen XP8s but if you need the money, it is sadly probably a better way to go in this one instance. You are already removing the CF Mirror covers and original wheels. I'm just saying!
