Q: Saleen/Flofit seats & headrests?
Just looking for feedback at this point. I have a set of Flofits that are out of an 89. Overall the seats are in fair condition with the majority of the wear on the drivers seat being on the bolsters next to the door, and on the middle area of the seat bottom. The passenger seat is in a lot better shape with the worst of the wear being the upper corner of the seat back next to the window where the fabric is rather brittle. The headrests are in pretty darn good shape with all of the netting being intact. They don't have the actual Flofit mounting rails, they're actually mounted in the car on stock mustang rails that I built my own brackets to adapt them to the seats, and they're currently sitting in an 81 Mustang that I have.
I've read that there's really no good way to redo the upholstery on the seats to the original look, so I'm leaning towards selling them. Is it better to separate the headrests and sell them on their own, or should I try doing everything as a set? What's the ballpark range that these could go for? Thanks for the help and advice. |

Sell them together.
The trouble with buying used Saleen seat pieces is the fade is hardly consistent. They faded together, and may not match the interior in a Saleen somewhere else. |
