Q: 2006 S281 door sill plates?

Hello guys. Any help would be appreciated. I'm looking at a 2006 S281 and after reading the spec sheet for that year it states that this car should have Saleen door sills. After reviewing pictures it has the standard Mustang plastic sills on both sides. Everything else about this car matches up and it is at a reputable dealer. Any ideas of why this would be like this.

I notice that insert is on a carbon fiber sill. I thought Saleen replaced the whole sill vs. just putting a plate down.

The carbon sill is custom. Saleen ordered Mustang GT chassis with IUP option. The IUP option included raised aluminum "MUSTANG" letters in the recessed sill areas. Saleen replaced these letters with their solid logo plate.
