Default Bypass Stop Screw Help

So, I recently noticed a drop in my boost and all of the shops here in Ohio do not know what they are doing so everything I gathered was online and from 281motorsports. After coming to the conclusion that is was not the boost guage sensor (still works but will be replaced with an accumeter), the bypass valve, or the guage cluster, it came down to the bypass stop screw which controls boost. Yes, a 40 cent screw controls boost on a 60k car.

The screw was almost out, pushing against the bypass valve. After attempting to tighten it the screw fell out somewhere in the engine bay. Bear in mind that this screw is suppose to be adjusted with precision and has a paint marker on it, and Saleen says not to adjust it. Absolute BS. After hours of finding a screw that would match it I installed the screw, maybe too much, as now the boost has returned with a vengeance. The question I have for anyone that has experienced this nightmare is after you have installed the screw, which has to rest flush with the bypass valve otherwise it will keep the valve open, did anyone adjust their boost a pump to allow for more fuel with the boost. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to have to re-tune this car again. Thanks.
