Question Q: Stoptech ST-60 specs for S281E vs S331?

Stop Tech's ST-60 6 piston caliper came on the Extremes and I believe they were also the caliper for the S331s.

Other than the bracket, does anyone know the differences in the caliper and rotor (aside from backspace and bolt pattern) ?

I see 3 diff thickness options for the rotors (28mm, 32mm & 35mm).

Was the caliper unique to the rotor size? I see bridge bolts & cross over tube options in these same diff mm's.

Anyone know which size was for the S281E and the S331?

If I was guessing I would think they were the same.

Worst case scenario - I could pull a bridge bolt and measure it to see what size they fit...

My guess is its a standard thickness.....??

Don't know if this will help or not but may answer a few questions. Looks like the S331 may have the ST-65 models with 380mmx28mm rotors and the Mustang got ST-60 model With 380mmx28mm. I haven't been able to find out the differance between the two models yet.

Robert, the other likely difference would be piston size.

I put my extreme calipers on my truck after finding a new set of calipers for my truck. Instead of putting the new calipers on the truck I put them on my car. The only difference is a hole on the top inside tab that I believe holds the brake line in place for the truck application. And the brake pad retainers are different because they use different brake pads. I just swapped the retainers to keep the extreme the way it came. But I could have installed them they way that they came.

The truck is my 2007 S331 supercharged.

So your extreme's bracket from the ST60 fit the S331's caliper (ST65)?
