Default Q: Seat foam replacement?

Does anyone know where to get replacement seat foam for my 05? I am under the impression that it is different than a GT because the side bolsters protrude more.

I was also thinking about trying the TMI seat foam, but would rather find the foam that was used.

Also interested in this. My drivers seat top cusion bolster and lower cusion bolster(closest to the door) are both a little disfigured from the previous owner.

Never received any kind of feedback from them. Not sure which other avenues to take.

Any update on the seat foam coming out? I just noticed I too suffer from the yellowish "snow" under/next to my drivers seat.

Default Info on Saleen Seat Foam

I saw a thread a while back but cannot find it now. The thread was in regards to what seat foam Saleen uses for there seat covers. Many people have issue with the seat and side supports nearest the drivers door breaks down over time and does not support as well << I have the same issue on a 66K mile cart I just purchased.

Answer is - they use stock seat foam then add / glue additional foam as needed to fill out the seat side supports. I will be taking my car to an upholstery shop to get the drivers seat fixed and door panel material re-glued as it is also starting to de-laminate.

Actually they didn't use the stock foam, it was all replaced. I contacted the company that made the foam for Saleen & was told they no longer produce it.

Well my car is scheduled for next Tuesday to get the seat padding repaired. I will report back what they find under the cover. The shop will be fixing the upper & lower drivers seat side cushions (leather is in good condition yet) and also drivers & passenger door panel material that is separating for $375.00

I have dabbled in the Saleen leather upgrade on the stock frame and tbar is 100% correct. Its a whole diff foam animal under that leather.

I would wage any good upholstery shop can remove, inspect, then cut and glue in the correct (cut to size) dense foam piece.

I just picked up my car from upholstery shop to get drivers seat foam repaired (door side seat and back side / lumbar was squished). I also had both driver and passenger door panel material replaced that was falling off. Previous owner was really big guy.

This company does a ton of mustangs and they said the foam looked like factory with additional "stitch foam" added to the leather covers. They found the stitch foam deteriorated and seat foam split.
