Default Q: Series IV Supercharger oil change?

Has anyone done one? What does it take? How many ounces does it take?

The Series IV is a Lysholm 1600. Contact Vortech for info...

http://www.lysholm.us/_1600ax.php

One paper said "5-50 wt. synthetic", but check to see.

Thanks for the help Dave.
I followed up on that information you provided. According to the ribs on the supercharger I counted (6) it is a 1600AX model. However, I'm a little puzzled now. I reached out to Lysholm/Vortech and the guy who replied to me is telling me this: "We never made the 1600AX model. We only made the 2300 and 3300 Lysholm models." Umm... Its listed right there on their website... LYS 1200AX, 1600AX, 2300AX, 3300AX & 3300R.

Is there any information listed in the Saleen Supplement Owner Manual?

Technically the guy at Vortech may be correct. I believe Vortech signed their agreement to produce/distribute Lysholm superchargers for North America around 2009 or 2010.

I would also like to know exactly what model Lysholm the IV is. Mine is, once again, leaking and I am planning a winter rebuild with new gaskets, etc. I know it's a 1600, but I'm fuzzy on whether it's an AX. I don't have the original owner's manual, so no help there.

Call PSE superchargers. Ed can tell you anything you want to know about your supercharger.
