Default Ran I. The 1/8at 7.8 @91mph

I ran 7.89 at 91mph with 275/40/20nitto 555r, been speed stage 3, arh headers, and 4.10 gears. I thought it would of went a little faster but I think the 29 in tires where slowing me down . Does this time sound right for the mods ihave. I'm thinking of getting tires for the track. Idn if I should get 26 or 28 inch tires

Sounds right to me. What 60' time were you getting? From the time I am guessing about a 1.7-1.8? With a 3.4 pulley I was trapping 90-92mph in the 1/8th.

I think 60 ft was like 1.84. I have 4.10 gears and headers also. I was thinking it would of been a little quicker

Was it hot that day? Makes a BIG difference. Not as much on 1/8th mile though.

Wait for a 50-60 deg day and get your 60' down to 1.5-1.6 and you'll be happier.

Good call. I don't think the taller tire is slowing you down especially since you have 4.10 gears. You need more sidewall though which the 15" wheel and 60 series tire will get you. I have had excellent luck with the Mickey Thompson ET Street R tire. I run a 305/45-18 and grab 1.4-1.5 60s.
