The quarter window scoops (covers) stayed glued to the glass. +1 for modern adhesives.

I bid on it up until $1700 thinking to make a nice track car donor engine and it only went for $1800 (so you figure $2200 after fees) but it was just too uncertain to go more.

All I know is someone in Washington state bought it. Maybe it was the original owner?

Default totalled PJ's

Hi, I am keeping a registry of PJ's. I know of 52 & 402. What is the other one?

You had 52?.. Do you have before and after photos I can add to the registry?

Thanks
Chris

Default keeping track

The other one was #135. It was on ebay for sale and had a salvage title. I have been keeping track as best I can and another one that had an interesting history was #177, it is or was owned by the New York's Classic Car Club and was driven by a different person I believe every month. I also know of a few that went overseas if you are interested? As for my previous PJ I have some pictures of before but not sure if I have any left of afterwards. It is on google under "Poor Parnelli Jones". It is sitting in a salvage yard in Louisville,Ky. The side windows had Shelby cover instead of PJ covers on them put on by the person I bought it from out of Ohio. I planned on putting them back to original but you know what happened. The person taking pictures though I hit something but a young girl turned head on into me, most of the impact was on driver's side and front.

Default damaged PJ

Yep that's my old car. Sounds like some think screwed up in motor on drivers side. The floor inside was buckle up about 3 inches also. It took me almost a year to find another one in mint condition like that one was.

Amazing.

Looks pretty good, except it's missing the lower chrome trim pieces below the lights and trunk.

For what it must have cost to fix it I can't see where they are making any money by the asking price.

I agree 100%.....Maybe a re-body? That seems the only way to make it cost effective.

I would hate to be the person that buys it and then sees pictures of it on the forum. That would be a bad day.

I asked the seller how bad it was wrecked and he told me there was damages almost over the whole body. I asked if he had any pictures of the restoration and it has been crickets ever since.......

Well at least he was forth right on the damage done. Most dealers would have probably down played the damage, but the picture of this car before is was fixed is worth a thousand words. If anyone hears of what happened to #52 please let me know.

The seller sent me 4 pictures of the "restoration process" but they are only after the car was painted..... I can forward them if someone wants them.

Default #402

This car was for sale in Marysville Washington. I'm thinking someone bought it because it drove by me on Everett Mall Way about a week or so ago in the pouring down rain.
It didn't have a number on the front bumper, it was still missing some of the chrome around the rear bumper. It also had the #15 roundles on the doors.
Perfect PJ for a rainy day.
