Default Q: Struts/shocks

I have around 80k miles on my car, still have the stock N2 suspenion and it needs to be replaced. What are you guys replacing your stock struts/shocks with? I'm thinking about Bilstein, Koni, or possibly a good coilover set. The car is just a weekend fun car with the occasional track event(drag) and I'd like to try autocross/roadcoarse just for fun, not compete all the time. I already have Cortex LCA, Techco Watts link, and just want to make the car handle great. Thanks in advance!

I also have KW Suspension Variant 3 shocks and springs all the way around. I love them and give them a big . Virtually infinite adjustability and you can corner-balance the car easily. I think the car rides and handles better than with the N2 Suspension.

I have the Cortex adjustable coil overs they are amazing! Fully adjustable with KONI core! They go nicely with the Cortex LCA and WATTS link! I also recommend the Cortex torque arm especially if you like to launch!

Thanks Ken, I already have a Techco watts and I'm not sure the Cortex Torque arm would work with it. Who knows, I could always sell the Techco and go with Cortex.

Jason at 281 did the install and actually has a demo for the torque arm in his shop. I have also personally met with Phillip the owner of Cortex, great guy very passionate despite being a new daddy! I do not think you would have any issues mixing and matching parts. You can check out 281's face book and wed site they likely have pictures of both installed. If not let me know Ill crawl under mine and take some pics! KW a great company also friend of mine put them on his EVO (I know) and really likes them as well!

We are actually installing a Cortex Torque arm on a Saleen with a Techco Watts Link next week. With a few minor mods, it should work fine. We would strongly reccomend a Cortex Watts link so that roll center and thrust angle can actually be adjusted. It really makes a HUGE difference to have those set correctly.

On a side note, there is a ton of detail work done to this car. For starters, EVERYTHING from the under carriage was removed, under body sanded, and painted satin black. All the suspension components were color keyed. Countless hours went into the detail work of this car. To see it in person is a true pleasure.
