They are hoping to get 500 mustangs at the show for Saturday and Sunday. Here is a link to the website.

The Greater Pittsburgh Mustang Club is working closely with organizers of this.
It's pretty early but I plan on being there with 03-211.

Five hour drive for me; but I'm considering it. Can someone who's been there add some insight? Thanks

Motorcar racing on city streets that wind through a golf course.

The event is/was more of a European motorcar celebration. Porsche, BMW, VW, Jaguar, MG, Triumph, Mercedes and their respective clubs have strong showings. The Italian exotics will be there as well.

Saturday is the active show day. Sunday is when the racing counts.

A buddy and I are considering it also. He has a 03 cobra and his sister lives in Burgh. Just not sure if it would be worth it.

Thank you Mr. Wizard ...Have you been there Dave? Did you like it? It seems it could be cool, since it is a lot of different marques but Mustang is the honoree.

Yes. I have been to the PVGP. Also, keep in mind it takes me 15-20 minutes to arrive at the location.

I do like the event and I spectate most every year. I usually spend a few hours looking at the Porsche and BMW displays... see the a few time trials... and leave.

I may part take in the Mustang celebration. I think 1999 was the last year I participated.

Thanks for the info, Dave. I'm still not sure about attending this one. Hopefully I can talk more about this show with you and Betsy at Carlisle.

The sun is currently at shine in Pittsburgh, PA. 50% chance of rain. If in the area, come see a few hundred Mustangs to be on display.

Betsy and Rudy usually participate, and were planning to be there with their 351, but Steve wanted their 351 at Mustangs Northwest Roundup, so East Coast Saleen fans will have to be patient. Sorry to report the last minute scheduling change.

Weather was very nice today, I counted at least 8 Saleens. They had a good turn out of Mustangs.
