Default Pls help: Exhaust options - 1998 S351

Hello All :-) im a Saleen S351 5.8L supercharged speedster 1998 owner, completely lost in Denmark with this, NO help at all to get in this country unfortunately, howewer i LOVE the car :-) what i want to ask is :

what exact cat back system will fit this car the best/easiest/sound Brutal ? and if possible where to buy it ? the shipping will probably cost around 400-500$ or more so its verry important to get the right one, and pls tell me if i will need anything else to mount it, but most important "witch cat back system" to buy

next question, will the "engine repair" light up or will i get any other problem ?

i know my english isnt the best but i hope you understand, and would like to help me out please :-) Kind Regards Jimmi

What is wrong with the stock H pipe and Borla exhaust the car came with??? Why the change?? They are iconic to the car IMHO. I know from personal experience the Bassani x pipe w converters will work and attach to the Borla mufflers and not throw a code. Hope this helps

nothing is "wrong" i guess, i would just love The car to sound even better, i thought a cat back system just removed the catalytic converters, and everything else could be stock ? thanks alot for your reply, can you link, or give exact name, or how to be sure to find the right system you talk about, for me its a jungle out there :-)

mabe i should just keep it stock, i dont know, everything else is stock, exept lights and rims, i have the orig parts tho, and the car have been storred indoor always, and only have 15000 miles on it.

mabe its stupid to change anything ?, i whas just dreaming about even better sound

I don't know the emission laws there etc. my opinion is to leave it stock. If you really desire a different exhaust note you can always listed to you tube videos of different cars etc.

I have a BBK offroad x pipe only on mine and it sounds incredible, not overly loud just right and mean and the lope of the engine is enhanced... just a beautiful noise... the throttle crackles and pops on engine deceleration.

Check out this video link for what the 351 sounds like with offroad x pipe.

Mine sounds similar but without the supercharger whine.

wow yeah that sounds incredible, but there is alot of different kinds for different models and years of the x pipe, i have no clue witch one to buy, can you please make a Link if you are sure witch one i need ? im told that the one that fits best is made to mustang gt 94-95 or something like that is that correct, i would appreciate a link to the specifik pipe, the Shipping and tax, will be like 600$ -700$ atleast, and 3-4 weeks to arrive, so i would like it to be right the first time, please ?

and thanks guys for the repplies, appreciate it alot, nice to talk to people for the first time that knows something about these cars :-)

Correct. Bassani X pipe for 94-95 Mustang 5.0 is what you need sir. Please keep original parts as they will make the car worth more if you ever sell!

I would recommend american muscle. they have good prices and ship quick.

Any pictures of your S351? What is the bumper number? I would keep your stock parts in case you go to sell the vehicle.
