Look no further. You have found the perfect Saleen. This is not an extreme, it is BETTER than and extreme. If you like spending thousands modifying your car, this isn't the car for you. The money has already been spent with no expense spared. There are over $50K in upgrades in this car! This car needs nothing. This may be a 2005, but it was upgraded to meet the specs of the 2007+ Saleens. Aluminum hood, upgraded cooling system routing, etc. All the creature comforts of newer cars with steering wheel controls and integrated iPhone control with CarPlay. Hit the voice button on the steering wheel and ask Siri to change the music or navigate to your destination. The car is setup to be a great all around car. Drive it to the drag strip, run a 10 second pass, drive it home and win a car show. Next weekend take it to a road course and eat Porsches for breakfast. This thing is fast and was made to handle it. Over 700hp at the wheels! This has been a VERY difficult decision, but I want to move on to a GT-R and can't have both. 25,xxx miles. $45K. Title in hand.

Here is the link to my thread with most of the modifications. I will work to make the full list available on this thread soon.

With the demon being released yesterday I would like to compare my car to the demon.

0-60
Demon: 2.3 sec
This car: 2.2 sec

0-100
Demon: 5.1
This car: 5.9

... and this car turns. :)

I know I don't post a lot, but i'll be sad to see you go. I have a ton of respect for someone that runs the strip and the road course and does both well.
It's not an easy feat.

As for the GTR, I have trouble picturing someone that drives a manual trans rwd monster in a point and shoot awd gtr, but who knows...

Thanks jcar302. It is definitely a difficult decision and I do really love this car. It runs flawlessly with no weird noises or anything which is difficult to do at this performance level. I am beginning to think the GTR isn't what I want for my next car. Maybe a modified 911. I want to try a lighter platform.

c6 z06 carbon?

You may find that in the Porsche category that the only cars to really love are the GT2 and GT3.
I bought my car lift off a guy that had a gt2, it was pretty awesome, but a brake job cost amost as much as an American transmission.

Good option, but I just have never been a fan of corvettes. I respect their performance, but they just don't excite me. GT2 sounds interesting.

I have a very similar build as yours. Just wondering what psi your pushing with the saleen blower to get 700 rwhp? Is that on e85 or a 93 tune? Just interested as im at 13/14 lbs of boost and about 575 rwhp. Ive been told over 16lbs these blowers just make heat. Would love to know if thats bull crap or not. hanks!

I run about 15 psi. It’s a stroker with 10.7:1 compression, e85, and meth/water injection which I would suspect helps, but I am unfamiliar with your setup. I made 610 rwhp on 9.5:1 compression and 93 octane. The engine runs really strong and was originally built by Techco.

Nice man ! Yea mine is a stroker also 9:1 compression SHM long block all fully forged internals stage 3 heads stage 2 blower cam. We only have 93 here so e85 isn't a option, im running 13lbs currently. Made 596 but the tune was way off so working on resolving this. My plan is to up the boost to 16lbs. Im upgrading the cooling system currently. Yes the water/meth helps a lot. My goal is mid 600's rwhp which for a street car is plenty.
