Smile Blown Head Gasket, never been so happy!!!

Coming home from a car show last month, my Temp was rising on the freeway. Got home and the Radiator was gushing Coolant.. Did the Gasket liquid test and It's blown...

Good thing is I get to build a motor!!!

Starting off with a 2000 Windsor (Not Romeo) 4.6L 8 Bolt block w PI heads..
Looking forward to having a fully forged Vortech Supercharged stang...

Pics and story to come!

LOL, thanks! I'll be sure to update this Thread as we progress...

It might take a while because now I want a Stroker 4.6 to 5.0! That means more money... but more power!

Get a boss block for another $1,400.00 and have a 315ci motor.

Look forward to seeing your new motor! Are you having Earls Automotive in San Fernando build it?

I have a 2000 Windsor motor in my Saleen. What advantage is the Windsor Motor over the Romeo? As far as I know the engines were built at different factories and the valve covers are somewhat different being that the Romeo's have more mounting bolts.

Kool thanks, I have the motor already.. Its just a matter of time and money from this point. It's going to take a while since I want to do it right the first time. No I'm not doing it at Earl's.... I got sponsored on the build by my friends shop in Palmdale. He just rebuild my Focus motor.

I picked up the motor from George (Mustang Heaven) in Sunland..
(818) 504-4141 - He has a good deal of Mustang parts.. All years!

The wheels are finally in motion..

Block was dropped off at MMR to be cleaned, bored and honed.. Picking up a 900stroker kit for the block. Next stop is either to do a Stage 3 port job on the stock PI heads or to buy Trickflow.. Haven't decided what to do.

Does anyone know if the Stage 3 PI heads hold up? I read Stage 2 don't.

I missed this years SALEEN show but I'll be ready for next years..
