Default Seeking info: 89-0382

I'm looking for any available info on 1989 Saleen #382. Also, I'm new to these cars and would like to know how many 1989 cars were made.

Thanks.

Is this the car you are asking about?
http://saleenforums.soec.org/showthread.php?t=16682

I am concerned with the lack of holes in the upper shock towers to mount the OE 1987-1989 Saleen strut brace.

If this is the car you are asking about. I am pretty sure I use to see this car parked on the streets of Oakland when I was a University of Pittsburgh student around 2002-2004. It had my attention since it was wearing DP wheels and California licenses plates.

The car is missing the Saleen front bumper filler and the body kit screws are incorrectly spaced / located. I would suspect the car had exterior damage at some point.

Dave
Yes, that is the car. I appreciate the heads up and will definitely keep your comments in mind. If you saw the car 10 years ago in Oakland the ad is a little deceiving, did you ever seen it in the snow by chance?

Thanks for the info.

I cannot recall seeing the vehicle in snow. I recall seeing the car in either pre-winter or post-winter. The vehicle may of had the body side moldings in OE black back then, but the DP5 wheel center caps were all missing. Like today.

Also for reference if this car doesn't pan out, there is a lot of info here, including these pages with a lot of production data.
