Default Needed: Racecraft Owners Near NJ

I would like to do a miniphotoshoot with any other racecraft owners I can find. I am in NJ and we can work from there. I take decent pictures so at the least you'll get some nice photos of your car

Post up if you're interested. I'm pretty flexible.

While I don't have a racecraft, you are in Clarksburg, as in Millstone?

Did you mean "in" Jackson or "near"?
Not sure why we aren't allowed to edit here (at least for 15 minutes after a post).

Default 2008 Racecraft

I have a 2008 Racecraft and live a few dozen miles West of DC. While I'm not usually in NJ, I am planning to take the car back to JDM's shop in a month or so for another dyno tune (once the new engine is installed), it seems those stock rods wanted no part of another trip around summit point... If you search youtube for racecraft and gornowich you can watch the video... Anyway, if you're still interested in a photo shoot, I'm open to a discussion.

Default Photo shoot

So I finally got the new engine installed, and threw in a T56 trans and one-piece driveshaft just to keep things interesting. The drawback is that first gear in the trans is now so low (numerically, geared tall) that getting the car moving is an clutch slipping exercise, turns out the stock rear is 3.31. So, I've picked up a 3.73 out of a Bullitt and will be swapping it in after the July 4th holiday. I ordered a Griggs torque arm and lower control arms and still have some Boss front lower control arms that we'll also be sliding under the car... We should have her whipped into shape by August, and I plan to make a trip to JDM in NJ for a dyno tune. They worked wonders with the stock engine and I can't wait to see what they can do with the new one.

Anyway, I'm up for a photo shoot in, say, mid-August. What does everyone else's schedule look like for that time?

Tazzed, it would great to have you.

Mid-August works for me, I have a wedding to go on the weekend of Aug20 however. Maybe Sunday Aug 13, assuming you go to the Dyno on a Sat 12? Or the same day of.

I had 3.31's too and love the 3.73. good compromise of highway and power, at least on the 5speed. Glad you got her installed. Which driveshaft did you go with?

So we got three so far. That's awesome.

Default Driveshaft

I bought the T56 trans in a kit from JPC in a kit that included a driveshaft from the "driveshaft shop", a nice custom bellhousing, a dual disc clutch, lightened flywheel, a new pilot bearing and even flywheel bolts. Top gear is almost identical in the new six speed and the old 5 speed, but that first gear is a too tall for the 3.31's.

I thought there was a forth Racecraft here in the NE, I think owned by a lady. It would be great if we could get four together...

I'm wondering what color cars we might have in our photo-shoot.
Mine is White with Black accents.
Tazzzed said his was Black with Black accents.

What other color is yours Jeepngli?

And what about the lady in CT?

Just curious...
