05 Mineral.... Did you ever find end links for the sway bar?

I wonder if a model of Saleen Mustang end links will work on the XP8.

I too need end links on my 00-0021 XP8.

Just get a set for a regular AWD explorer, they work fine and they are the same length, at least on mine they were, I changed mine about 6 weeks ago.

and to make life a bit easier, the nuts usually won't come off easily, just get a grinder and cut just above the lower arms.

Default End Links

Hennie why not just get a pinch nut? Also two different sources for the links.. if you want urethane try maximun motorsports the are about 30.00 or Napa sells explorer replacement end links for about 15.00 pretty much the same as OEM. I went with Maximum Motorsports. Sorry for the delay in answering.

depending on wheather conditions etc, they can be pretty rusty on the inside and the sleeve wont slide of the bolt, inthat case it's easier to just cut the old one off.

I actually broke the bolt off on the drivers side trying to break it free. So I purchased some new ones at a local auto parts store. I bought them for the same year Explorer, but they were too short. I compared the bolt length to the one on the passengers side (that I did not break) and the original bolt was slightly longer.

We have the 2WD XP8. I dont think that matters on the End Link bolt.(??) Will look into the Maximum Motorsports. Thanks for all the information.
