Default Q: Best bang for your buck watts link

Ok, so I have spent countless days/hours researching watts link set ups. I'm trying to find out which is the best bang for my buck. It's for a driver not drag racing and maybe 2 autocross runs a year at best. My options seem to be...

Whiteline, $899.82
FAYS2, $675-695.00
Cortex, $995.00
BMR, $549.95

I would like opinions from actual owners that have any one of these installed on their Saleen. Not trying to say other people don't know what's what but I want user input.

I picked up a slightly used Fays2 for $400. I've run it in a number of track events, but it really shines on crappy roads. I have mine set 1 hole below center with a corrected front roll center height. ('08 GT500 with FRPP suspension)

I have the whiteline, and though some have mixed opinions of their quality and ability, I live it. I took mine to Road Atlanta back in June (1st time on track) and as a newbie, I thought it did well. I had the suspension tuned by a company in Athens since its outside my knowledge

Without question the Cortex unit. If you want to know why, give me a call.. I have no interest in an opinion war here on the forum. And yes we have tested and worked with them all.

We are going to be testing a BMR shortly as an entry level piece but haven't done so yet. We will be looking for a local test mule car for that.

I installed the Cortex Watts Link last summer and I could feel the difference before I even got on the track; the increased stability could be felt immediately. The body roll was virtually eliminated with the installation allowing me to vastly increase my cornering speeds on the Autocross track. I smoked all of the other Mustangs on the track, even though the oldest was a 2014 model.

This definitely was a great buy to increase the suspension capabilities. A big thank you to 281 Motorsports for the recommendation on this part, I still can't believe the difference its made!

I don't race my car. It's just a weekend top-down cruiser. I am interested in a Watt's link for a different reason. I have an adjustable panhard bar now, so my rear end is centered at ride height. When I slam the air suspension at car shows and cruise-ins, sometimes it goes off center. Will a Watts link keep the rear end centered while dropping the air bags? Thanks to those in the know.

Sid,
I'm in the market for a pn adjustable panhard bar. which one did you go with?
I need to centre up my rear badly ever snice I got 315/35/20 nitto invo rubber,
you can really tell it's off centre and it's rubbing a lot on the drivers side.

I went with a UMI Performance one. I got a great package deal discount at Carlisle a few years ago that included the panhard bar, LCAs and UCA. A plus for me is that they are made in my home state, Pennsylvania. Here's the link:

http://umiperformance.com/catalog/in...roducts_id=308

You also cannot go wrong with BMR(most popular) or Steeda.

Thanks for the compliment!

Guys, this part is amazing on ALL Mustangs whether you race or just enjoy on the street. The Cortex unit allows the rear end to finally be predictable.
