Q: Sub frame connectors?
The floor on 85-132 seems to be pushed down under the left rear corner of the drivers seat causing the whole seat to lean towards the outside badly.
Im thinking about subframe connectors with seat brackets to reinforce the floor. Its not rusty at all so I don't think replacing the floor is the way I want to go. I actually thought about straightening the floor and welding in a second piece of floor on top of the original but I'm not sure about that. I would like some opinions on my thoughts. I am trying to keep the car original but this problem needs addressed.

The maximum motorsports subs have the seat brackets.
I don't think subframe connectors hurt the value, me personally I can't even imagine driving a foxbody without them. Just make sure whoever installs them does quality welding.

I was looking at Stifflers sub frame connectors at Mustang Week but I will do some shopping around.
I will be doing the welding myself.

They are actually a must for these cars to help stiffen the chassis. Maximum makes great products. Also keep in mind the ones used by Saleen back then were tubular and not square steel for the correct look per se.

Oh really???!! I was not aware of that. That might be interesting to get a pair like that. Though I would think the square ones would be better.
