Default Help: 3v pistion install correct?

Need help with my MMR pistions!! I just got it back from the machine shop and noticed the single notch that was installed on the piston top from MMR was on top of the motor where the intact valves are?? Is that right? It's a 3v head and when I ordered from MMR they told me I had to have a notch.

Pictures would be helpful. Also, MMR does not have a good reputation.

Yeah that looks wrong. The valve relief should be on the bottom. What compression will end up with? Here's a pic of them installed correctly.

So I'm I screwed now? As everything was balanced would it throw the balancing of if each pistion has to be flipped to the opposite side?

Those pistons should be within a gram or 2 of each other and won't make any difference on the balancing. Talk to your builder. He blueprinted for you right?

Hmmm, I'm guessing he swapped the driver side/passenger side pistons. I guess it would be nice if their etch was rotated 90° so that if you installed them wrong the text would be upside down.
