Remove Bumper to drop gas tank?
Hey all,
I am planning to change the fuel pump on my 2002 S-281. Looking under the car, we do not have to much access to the back of the tank/ wiring harness. Do Saleens need to have the bumper removed to drop the fuel tank? Help from someone who has done this before would be really appriciated! Thank you, Erik |

The Bumper is fine there is just enough room to get a long extension and socket to loosen up the bolts. You will have to cut the zip ties and then you can manipulate the gas tank down.

I didn't remove my bumper. It's not too bad. Make sure the tank is almost empty.
