The trim ring for the grille corral was broke and missing when I got my car. So I put a chrome ring back on and I am now noticing that some of them are black. Would have mine been black originally, or did they come both ways? Would like to put mine how it should be

Saleen Performance repainted the OE chrome corral satin black during conversion.

The paint had a tendency to chip off.

I think I may paint mine black like it should be since there isnt much chrome on the car. Appreciate the response!

I would get rid of it completely and go with a Mach 1 delete kit. To me it looks cleaner then the honey comb look of the yeastier year.

I've read that some aren't a very clean fit. How does yours fit?

Here are a few pics of mine with the Mach 1 grille delete. I like it alot more then the honeycomb grill and mine fits perfect.
