Exclamation Q: 15" Rotor & replacement pad info?

I am pretty sure I am beating a dead horse here, but I tried using the Excursion/F250/F350 pads about 2 years ago, and they wouldn't fit. As a heads up for all S331 Owners StopTech replacement Part Numbers are listed here:
http://www.stoptech.com/products/big...lacement-parts

There were 2 pads used, as seen in the link above. Does anyone have a list of the trucks with the less common pad?

I am currently trying to find a place that can order the Drilled Rotors as yet another wheel hub bearing has failed in service completely wearing down the rotor (No visible slots anymore). Planning on putting the truck on a Flatbed to have it towed up to my Ford Dealer soon. I'm thinking this is kind of ridiculous at this point seeing the truck only has 34,000 miles on it. Does anyone know if the Recall on these things is still valid? TSB: 07V-188?

What sent you to use pads for an Excursion/F250/F350?

I would think Expedition/F150 is where you should be.

I just had a wheel bearing go out on my 08 F 150 Harley Davidson with the Saleen super charger. it has 66000 miles on her. Try rock auto for the drilled rotors. I have had very good luck with EBC brake pads.

Dave,
If you look at the Pad Shapes used in the S331's with 15" Brakes you can see that the most common Pad Shape is D756 which cross references to a F250/ Excursion Pad. The other pad shape D1247 was apparently only used in a small amount of S331's in 2007, yet no one seems to know which Serial #'s were affected. This is because StopTech made Changes to the Pad Shape at some point in the manufacturing run for Saleen. I spoke with Dave Zeckhausen at Zeckhausen Racing regarding this issue and all he could get from StopTech was what I had said. In addition, StopTech also stopped Manufacturing the Drilled Rotors for the S331 15" Brake System. Although, throughout their Website, you can get the 15" Brake Upgrade Kit with Drilled Aero Rotors, just not the Rotors themselves I guess.

Marine: Does your Harley have a 15" Brake Kit? I thought the Wheel Hubs were only issues on trucks with larger brakes and/or tires? Do you know what company made the Hub for your truck? I have heard that the Centric 4x4 Hub assembly has been the permanent fix for any 2wd truck with 15" brakes and bigger tires/wheels.
