2015 SCOA Nationals, Barber Motorsports Park - August 6-9
THE SCHEDULE
THURSDAY for the Early Birds, there will be a cruise down to Wellborn Muscle Car Museum. We’ll eat lunch there then cruise back up through the Talladega National Forest stopping at the Talladega Superspeedway and the Motorsports Hall of Fame. THURSDAY EVENING will be our Early Bird meet & greet at the hotel, sponsored by Saw’s BBQ. FRIDAY will be a driving tour stopping at Old Car Heaven in downtown Birmingham for lunch and then cruising back to the hotel. FRIDAY EVENING is our Welcome Bash – This event will be held in the atrium of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts. SATURDAY is the National Show. There will also be parade laps on the track starting at noon and a High Performance Drivers Education (HPDE) so you can show and go if you choose! SATURDAY EVENING we’ll be off to dinner, set on the ground floor amongst the vintage cars at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, sponsored by NAPA AutoCare Centers. SUNDAY will be the annual “See Ya” Breakfast for host hotel guests that are headed out early, then off to the Autocross driving event for the day for everyone else. We will class cars accordingly and awards will be given.

This years event promises to be the biggest and best to date. 4 fun filled days including cruises, museums, car show, high performance driving event and more! A little bit of something for everyone. The car is 97-0013B and is a Moonlight Blue Metallic exterior, grey Ford leather interior convertible with an automatic transmission. The car is getting the spa treatment including a new top, new front seat covers, new tires, refurbished wheels, a transmission rebuild, some paint touch up and all new decals. Despite the 100k+ smiles the car has delivered she will be running and looking really good when all the sponsors get finished with her. We hope to have updated pictures of it soon.

Just to piggy back off Lee's comments, I've seen the give away car multiple times. Very straight, runs very well, and doesn't show it's age. Gonna be a real gem by the time it gets to Nationals.

What Time Does The Cruise Start On Thursday?
For the cruise Thursday what time do we need to be Barber Motorsports Park? I don't have a Saleen but I do have a 09 GT500 and my daughter and I wanted to do the cruise on Thursday. I just haven't seen any start times and don't want to be late.
