Default Q: SHR strut tower brace fitment?

Hi guys. First time Saleen owner and I love my ride! I have an '06 Saleen S281 3V convertible (06-944) and was in the process of installing the SHR strut tower brace from American Muscle and it looks like the brace puts pressure on the hood when closing. I haven't shut closed the hood completely because of fear of denting the hood. Is the SHR strut brace to tall for the S281 3V convertible hood? Is there a better strut tower brace out there for my model? Thanks guys.

Does your car have the stock Mustang hood?

That's a stock Mustang hood. It should fit the same as it would on a stock Mustang GT.

What was your goal for installing a strut tower brace?
