1986 Saleen #18. Very nice original, unmolested four-eyed Saleen mustang. This car has been in a climate controlled storage for the last 10 years. Southern car with no rust issues ever. I would drive this car cross country right now without hesitation. Very nice running, driving car with lots of get up and go!

It is not showroom perfect, but has won several trophies at local shows. There a couple of small scratches here and there as you expect from a 31 year old car, but nothing major (you would have to look really closely to see them!). The front air dam was repainted before I bought the car due to rock chips, but never re-striped. The color match is perfect.

There were only 201 of these made in 86. The value will only go up from here.

The only reason I am selling this car is to downsize my collection.

You are welcome to inspect the car or have someone check it out for you.

Thanks.

Seems like a good deal considering the condition and the unobtanium 85 ground effects.

I always forget that the FI 5.0 didn't arrive with the euro styling of 87. I see 4 eye, and think carb.

I definitely will. I am really excited to get them up here. Just sorting through some shipping options and then I will get them up here. I am going back and forth between having them shipped enclosed or if I should go down and get them myself. I love a good road trip. Its 1800 miles each way. And I would take them back on an open trailer which is not what I really want.

I have used Intercity a few times and Reliable a few times and never had any problems. But it is not cheap. Anyone have another suggestion? I would never use one of those services that subs the jobs out. I have heard nothing but horror stories about them.

looking forward to finally being a Saleen owner.

Greetings from a fellow "massho--". As for carriers, the others I've used, is premier, and passport (in addition to reliable and intercity). I've been using reliable over the last couple years. They brought me a car from Az, just 2 weeks ago. The last drama I had was a job that was farmed out, car came dirty as hell (also a speedster so top down to transport tonneau), even some oil in the interior from the POS above. But that what you get for a $1400 haul from LA. Sadly you get what you pay for.

I do believe "you get what you pay for". I just have to get the "road trip" thought out of my head. I have time but most of my biddies cant take the time. It would suck alone. I will probably just book Intercity. I like them a little better than Reliable.

Looking forward to meeting some of the local Saleen folks.
