I wanted to change up the interior a little bit, so I added a few items. They are small changes, but they make all the difference from a stock interior.
-2008 Bullitt Mustang shift bezel and boot
-black powdercoated billet E-brake handle
-satin billet cup holder bezel
-06 Saleen shift knob (originally had the 05)
-previously installed Pioneer touchscreen AVIC

Also, I got my new tags!

After she gets clayed, buffed, and waxed, she will be ready for Performance Autosport's Open House.

Hey Daytona - Do you have a link for that Shifter Boot Bezel? It looks Sweet, not like the one out on the web that says SALEEN, but is very bulky. That one looks like is was suppose to of come with car.

I like those changes a lot. They are subtle and look stock. Can you provide links to where you got them?

Wicked- That is the reason I liked the OEM bezel better. It is not as bulky. The aftermarket ones look like a chunk of aluminum just glued to the console. This one actually flows with the console and matches the dash.

The shift bezel and boot comes together and is called the IUP Shift Boot, Ford part number 8R3Z7277BA. I ordered them from a private Ford parts dealer. His name is Kevin Casey. He can be reached via email at clevparts@aol.com or by phone at 559-372-6806. He can get the bezel cheaper than any other parts supplier and is a great guy. He sends a bunch of GT500, Ford GT, and Mustang posters with your order for free. Total shipped it was $135.00. If you get it from the dealer, it is close to $160, plus shipping.

The billet items were purchased by the original owner from UPR products, I believe. I just had them powdercoated "dash black" for $20 to match the interior.

I agree, nicely done.

BTW: I was thinking of getting the same plate too..."S281SC". I like it!
I'd like "SALEEN" but someone has it in Ontario, and they don't even own a Saleen, apparently it's their last name. I think that in itself is a reason to buy one!

How was the install of the new boot and the remove.and.replace of the 06 knob?

Unscrew the shift knob. Remove the old shift boot by pulling up. Replace the old shfit boot with the new shift boot and the shift bezel (they are attached together). It clips in with 4 tabs. Screw back on the shift knob. It literally takes 30-60 seconds start to finish, no tools required.

Daytona -

What do you think the diffrence is between these two?

http://www.partscheap.com/Bullitt-Mustang-Shift-Bezel-And-Boot-p/8r3z-7277-cb.htm

or

http://www.partscheap.com/Mustang-Aluminum-Shift-Bezel-p/8r3z-7277-ba.htm

I think you had gone with the top one, correct? I think it say it only fits the Bullitt Stang, is that due to a particular shifter it uses ?

Yes, i think the difference came from the different shifter, smaller on the Bullit. The other one can fit the stock GT shifter, which is bigger, like you can see on pics

DO NOT order the Bullitt one. Order the part ending in BA. (the second one) The first one will not fit. This is the exact part number you want, 8R3Z7277BA.
