Well for some reason my 06 saleen with 14k miles has slightly warped front rotors and don't have a clue why.

Does anyone know were I can get the best deal for 4? I was just going to purchase 2 for the rear to match the front.

Any thoughts would be appreciated...........

One of the services we offer is Cryo treating the rotors prior to installation. We have had great success with this process now for 8 years! We can even do brake pads as well.

When metal is formed at atmospheric temperature and pressure the molecules are disorganized and contain weak carbon particles called Austenite. What Cryogenic Treatment does is to convert these disorganized molecules and weak carbon particles into highly organized molecules and very strong carbon particles called Martinsite.

The end result of this conversion is extremely strong and durable metal. Durability (resistance to wear and fatigue) is around 100% (that’s double), the typical increase in strength is 30% to 50%. This results in dramatically reduced replacement costs. In fact typical results are a doubling of the time between engine rebuilds, replacement of disk brake rotors and also doubles the amount of cutting that virtually any blade can do before they need sharpening.

Another benefit of Cryogenic treatment is that the metal becomes a very efficient dissipated of heat. This means engines, transmissions, disk brakes, and cutting tools run much, much cooler.

I thought it was a typo when I saw the almost $700.00 price for a set of one piece 14" front rotors at Speedlab?!

There has to be a better solution here, anyone find a cheaper source for compatible rotors with the 14" Stoptech kit?

Hmm, looks like the Shelby GT 500 complete front 14" brake kit is only around $1150 and replacement 14" Brembo rotors about $350/pair. That might be an option if I can't find replacement rotors at a decent price...

I think Roush might have the two-piece 14" StopTech rotors on sale for $800.00.

Would the GT500 14" Brembos work with the StopTech calipers?

No, don't believe so. The offset on the rotor hat is different.

We sell them as well, but we are a few dollars more. Make sure you get the right rotors, there are a couple variances between calipers.

Then what does it cost to replace the 15 inch rotors that come on the '06 Extremes?

Here are the correct part numbers, for what they call the "BBK One Piece AeroRotor Slotted Rotor." 355mm or 14" at $148.75

Part #: 30.330.1113

30.330.1114 (http://store.excelerateperformance.com/stoptech/stoptech_aero_rotors/303301114/i-334016.aspx)

I have never dealt with them, so I don't know if those are the correct StopTech 14" rotors for the Saleen version, my advice would be to call them.
