94-98 Droopy Front Fascia - What's the Fix?
-----
I see this all the time and now I finally have the problem.
This is where the bottom lip sags from the weight of the urethane.
Anybody come up with a fix for this?
Some kind of support?

Thx,
Joe

Hey..

Weeelllll, theres an unfortunate fact with, saleen front facia's,
Particularly those for the sn95 style mustangs.
THEY ALmost ALL suffer the Sag Lip effect. (due to heat and downforce)
Thus far, ive had 3 front facia's on my s281.
when i purchased the car new, it infact Had a second facia installed because of that very problem, Saleen has tried to track down the problem ever since. It simply lyes with the materials used.
After smaking my front up recently, and replacing it, i noticed the materials seem much stronger, and no where near as flexible as before.
Also, they now have better screw mounts on the upper portion.
Some people mount lightweight metal braces underneath,
I once even used fishing wire that worked perfectly, and was completly un noticable. it sucks, but one of those unfortunate things.
ALSO, the rear may suffer simular issues, as Both part are Functional
downforce inducer's, so its a plus and minus.

havent seen it happen on 98-2001 style saleens
