I just picked up the Saleen Gauge pod with a boost guage and air temp gauge. This is the one that has one circuit board for two gauges. Does anyone have a copy of the installation guide. I bought mine used and it doesn't have one.

Thanks

I take it's the late 2003-04 pod style? The one that better matches the OE Ford gauge cluster. With the two meters behind a shared lense?

If so, Jim or one of the Saleen reps on this forum should have this particular manual.

That sounds like the one I have. I'm new to this, how do I get a hold of Jim?

Thanks
Rick

Hi Did you install you gauge pod? Wanted to mention to be careful with the electrics.
I bought a new gauge/pod kit and it took out two computers before the mechanics isolated the problem to the pod. It was shorted. Once fixed it was fine.
My $.02 worth.

thanks for the info. I haven't installed it yet. The one that I have seems to be more for the 2002-2004 Saleen. I have a 96 and I haven't decided if I'm going to look for the gauge setup that actually came with my car or if I'm going to use this one.

I have a 1994-1998 S/C pod listed on www.saleenls.com (http://saleenls.com/)

Wait...it has a boost gauge and an air temp gauge? Post a pic of the one you bought.

I was looking at my friend's gauge that he has on his Extreme and noticed that they have an air temp gauge on the right. I went back and checked my 2002 S/C and realized that mine has an intercooler H2O gauge. Never noticed that they were different.

Just wondering if you bought the gauge cluster that comes from an 05+ car....

Does it look like this?

Did anyone ever locate that manual? I need to wire mine also! Plus the Fuel press and Oil Press from saleen too?

Good question. If it is found, it should have ended up here, but I don't know.

I ended up finding an 03/4 pod (the clock looking pod with the white gauges), it indeed has boost and intake air temp. Its pretty sweet compared to the intercooler h2o as that really doesnt have as much bearing on whats going on as the actual air inlet temps. Im seeing around 115 cruising and 140-145 when im really beating on it.
