I live about 1 1/2 hours from PAS and really would like to check out the saleens that show up. When I was down at PAS a few weeks ago Mark mentioned some thing about providing some lunch a hot dog etc. and a few other demos he is trying to plan out.

Sure wish Susan and I could be there, but work calls and I cant get off work. I just purchesed a 2003 Lightning and put similar Saleen strips on it but put SUPERCHARGED done the door. I would have loved to tow the 2005 Saleen down to Va. . There is always next year.

Spoke to Jess Albright from Saleen, he will be down for the open house.
It looks like we are going to have great weather for the event. It has been in the 80s all week with low humidity. Hope to see you all there.

You couldn’t have asked for a better day, high 80’s low humidity. Now traffic getting to the show what a nightmare, 95 was its usual weekend stop and go. We took the Saleen XP what a great ride, Laura and Taylor Slept on the way back.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> </o:p>
Like usual the parking lot and shop were buzzing when we pulled in at 10:30. <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Pierre</st1:place></st1:City> was parking everyone and the main parking area in front of the shop was already parked up and people were admiring the cars. It was a nice mix of cars, there were a couple of corvettes, some Lighting pick-ups a Harley Davidson f150. Mark had his 2010 Performance Autopsort Mustang ready and on display. He had the three cars on the lift in the shop displaying some of the work they do and the Griggs set up, very impressive display. The clear bra guys were there installing a clear bra, that is a time consuming process, when it is done you can barely see it, but it really does a good job protecting the car. My Saleen’s will be heading down there to have it installed. There were about 10 Saleen’s there a couple of Roush and Shelby’s. Probably 60 to 70 cars, as one would pull out another one would fill it place.
<o:p> </o:p>
<st1:PersonName w:st="on">Jess Albright</st1:PersonName> from Saleen came down to support the show and talk with owners and enthusiast about Saleen today and where they are heading. Stay tuned sounds like they have some great plans for the heritage of Saleen. If you are going to Mustang Week they are planning an unveiling of the 2010 Saleen. Jess THANK YOU for attending.
<o:p> </o:p>
It was great to see old friends, put faces and voices or on line chat voice together. Marshall the 88 looked good, Andre you win the long distance driving award, hope you had a safe trip home, Steve your car brings back memories of stories Jeff and Lisa told as they drove cross country to my show back in 2002, the car still looks great, love the yellow. Ron white car white wheels one of my favorite combo’s. Jeff the 351 looks good sorry we couldn’t talk more. Ben, Kerry, ****, Chris Chip and everyone else thanks for attending and look forward to seeing you next year.
<o:p> </o:p>
The only sad news about the entire event is we are down to less then 500 copies of the Saleen book, if you want one act soon. Once they are gone that is it, the publisher is not planning a reprint. The positive to that is <st1:PersonName w:st="on">Brad Bowling</st1:PersonName> was there and is planning an update to the book to include 2004 to present, Race history, Focus and Explore. The owners registry will be updated as well and a couple of surprise additions.
<o:p> </o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>
Thank you’s, where to begin:
<o:p> </o:p>
Mark, Wendy and the crew at Performance Autosoprt for opening the door to this every year, the place looked great. I hadn’t been down since you open the new showroom, the shop looks complete.
<o:p> </o:p>
Jim D for allowing me to promote show here and providing posters
<o:p> </o:p>
Dave B for developing the poster looks great
<o:p> </o:p>
<st1:PersonName w:st="on">Jess Albright</st1:PersonName> and <st1:PersonName w:st="on">Jeff Clark</st1:PersonName> for Saleen support and putting in over 18 hours on the read to be there.
<o:p> </o:p>
All the owners who attend and those who promoted the event THANK YOU.
<o:p> </o:p>
Remember the show will be the second Saturday in July next year, be there.

Hey guys, I had a great time at the PAS event, Mark has a top notch operation down in Va. Would like to thank him and his staff for the event and the hospitality. Also thank you Mark for the "pry bar" the brake caliper never had a chance.

Thank you also to Greg, Laura, and Taylor enjoyed meeting and talking with you guys. (Posters are great) I made it back to NY with 664 with no problems after a little sidewalk brake caliper replacement, and avoiding the wonderful Va. State Police and thier traffic initiative along I-95 ...lol.

Brad Bowling, it was a pleasure meeting you, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. You are extremely knowledgeable with regards to the history of the Saleen brand.

I had a great time at the event, Mark has an excellent facility, staff, and customer base there. Anyone within a days drive of there should check it out, really some cool stuff for a Saleen enthusiast, or just anyone who appreciates nice cars.

It was great meeting some of you there, Greg, Chris, and of course Mark. I look forward to coming back next year.

If anyone is looking for a super nice, almost brand new S351, Mark has an awesome 99 convertible that he is selling. Check it out you will be impressed. One of the last 351's ever made. I know who I'm gonna call when I am looking to buy my Fox body!!

Thank you
Jess

The show was great and definitely worth the drive down from Jersey. Mark runs a first class operation and it is always a pleasure visting PAS. Enjoyed meeting everyone I did and swapping stories and getting more history on 99-126, "Lisa's Car" LOL. Greg, thanks for the poster, it'll be added to rest of the collection on the wall!
