Q: Paint or powdercoat? - Gold Sterns on fox cars
 

I am a long time saleen owner and enthusiasts i have owned 890092 since new . Looking for info on witch is better powder coating or painting my stern wheels .I have seen lot of cars with gold centers either painted or powder coated .Any advise would be helpful.

Paint works fine. Exact color matches can happen with paint.

Powdercoat is more of a... what is available.

Thanks Dave for advise i like the color on darkhorses 88 coupe sterns . Tried to contact him with no luck . MY car is red with gold ordered it it new oct. 1988 .890092 have all my original parts . I like the sterns look .Can not powder coat center caps so looks like paint . Color matched the gold on my basket weave original rims . Increasing back rims to 17x10 putting 285-40r17 on them not alot to chose from in 17 inch tires .
