Q: Series VI oil change? - 2007 Mustang GT (Saleen supercharger)

Hi everyone!
Already bought Saleen Supercharger
And first question want to change oil in it, as I understand Saleen recommends (NYE Syntethic oil 605), so is (AcDelco GM 12345982) same oil ? And what quantity?
Second is if it need to be cleaned after delivery how I can do this?
And if here is somebody who can help me with it it will be good, because I'm outside of the US :)
Also if this incorrect thread please drop my post to the correct one
Regards

But they are not friendly)
I was asking them regarding oil, bolts torque, pulley information , how to maintain sc and how to take apart sc cover to clean inside and after change oil
They answered me that all we can tell is what oil do you need and that’s it)
So they are not those guys who can help

That is odd...I had quite the opposite experience when I had a conversion with owner regarding service. I can send you pics of when I dismantled the snout of the supercharger. It's quite simple if the unit is already off car. If you do not know the mileage or history of the unit a service would not be a bad idea. You might dig into the supercharger and find something that needs to be replaced..

These guys are awesome too, and they sell most if not all parts for a supercharger rebuild/unit service.. I would contact them if you want to look elsewhere and ask questions..

I run the ACDelco supercharger oil on my series VI. It's the easiest to get and most cost effective. You'll need two 4 ounce bottles.

As for external cleaning, I use a general motorcycle degreaser like S100 and a boar-hair brush followed by a careful rinse.

Like mentioned previously would be a good idea to remove the snout and thoroughly clean and check the internals. It is relatively easy to do if supercharger is off the vehicle. Also at that time you can check the plastic coupling. I have bought from Jonbond and found them good to deal with. Also 281 Motorsports has parts and a very neat dip stick tube.
If you do take snout off make sure you use correct sealing material.
