Did you know that in 1989 Saleen Autosport produced a lone black convertible with a red interior?

Vehicle was an unusual all Saleen graphic and interior delete order.

Not sure on the wood stuff..... but that is cool the rarity of it.

Where is it now?

I wonder if that is real wood or painted metal. That roll bar is worthless if it is actually wood. The dash has a lot of wood grain on it also. Other than that, it is a neat car.

Interior is sun-worn, but it can now be yours.

The car is located in Lakeland, FL which is not too far from me. It looks like they removed the rear subs and put the rear seat back in it. I was wondering about the red interior though.

WOW, never seen one like that... Almost more 70's looking than the 80's with teak trim....

Don't like the red calipers. I doubt it was delivered like that, but what do I know.

Looks like it has had quite a few changes back to more "normal".

Tail lights are different, old pix, not quite GT "cheese grater" style, but something going on.

1987-1990 ASC McLaren covers over LX lenses.

Ignoring the wood trim and sound system mods... condition wise looks like a car we would have seen in the mid-90s. (Not knowing what relics from the stereo install may lurk.)

Oh duh, I should have thought of that.
