Chicago Saleen Members Car Club??

Do we have representation in the Midwest??
Is there going to be a Saleen rally for the Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, etc. folks?
If not, should I take the lead and get one together?
The big show I go to is at Perry Farm in Bourbonnais, IL and the Autobahn because they are close to home.
I have 1/2 dozen+ friends with Saleens alone in my small town.

I go to multiple Mustang shows each summer and only a handful of us show up. I see more driving on the street than at shows. Which shows are the major players? Can we make a concerted effort to show up in numbers at a few in the Midwest? I will go to a few in the Chicago area for sure.

Your not alone in the Midwest. The problem I have seen in general with most Mustang Shows is that all signature cars from 1979-2013 are lumped together in one class regardless of the year of the car. Several different body styles competing against each other and then add in other manufactures with them. It seems all signature cars at shows now are not treated as other classes of Mustangs are. I have limited the shows I will enter in now because of this. The economy is tough I realize this but come on!

We have a few down here and they don't do much either. I have come to realize its just the type of people Saleen owners are. They just don't feel the need to do car shows.
