Q: Dye for 2005-07 S281 interior?
Does anyone know where we can get dye that matches our interior seats to cover scratches in the leather? I hate to blame her but the bling on my girls jeans scratched her seat

Burn those jeans!

I'm not that familiar with using dyes, but I would consult with a good upholstery shop or a restoration/repair specialist.
If you want to do it yourself, check out a company called Leatherique. Hopefully someone else will have some first-hand experience with what you're attempting. Keep in mind that leather has a finish, and it's tough to re-create that. |
I had thought about going to a shop to see what they think. With my luck I would make it worse !! Thanks,

Not sure what direction you want to go in but you can check out some products from SEM. They have all kinds of matching colors for interiors.

The only thing i've ever heard of that is similar to what you describe is Swissvax Leather Healer

www.colorplus.com I met these people at their booth at last years AACA Hershey Fall Meet. I was impressed with the samples that they had done on seats. You can send them a small sample and they will match the color. They also have different gloss levels available.
