Steve Saleen's Going Racing
 

For several years Steve Saleen has talked passionately about going racing again, so it comes to no surprise when we heard that he and a business partner plan to participate in the American Le Mans Series later this season.

We had a chance to talk with Steve recently and he commented about driving the S7R. "It really fits my driving style," he said with a smile. On the race track, being an aero car, its handling is much more fluid than that of a Mustang.

Though he's had several offers to drive the S7R in competition, the 59-year-old rejected those opportunities up until recently; it seems the itch to drive again has caught up with him.

How serious is he about racing? He's been spotted at Willow Springs Raceway, his staff is trying to get him "off" red vines, and he's installing a workout room at his office.

We can't wait until race day!

Will these cars fly the banner for Techo? Or both Techo and SMS?

Corporate colors?

Am I wrong to say it looks like SMS will default to black and yellow (gold)? The clothing looks that way.
