Q: Correct engine paint color?

Hello,
looking to find out what is the correct engine paint color for my 1995 S351. The car is 95-045 in Rio Red and after getting it back into running condition found a blown head gasket and have it torn down for a complete clean up and repaint to the engine bay.
Question is what is the proper engine color for the block. It is currently being cleaned and has what appears to be a bluish gray paint on the block and pan. Plan is to get get it back into factory-ish condition and having trouble finding which color I need to paint the block and pan to be correct.
Also anybody know what is the correct paint code for that engine paint?

Hello, did you happen to find the correct engine color on the 95 S351? Anyone have a similar color to the color of the oil pan in my photo? I thought the block would have been grey, and perhaps a black or grey oil pan... anyone have some insight on the correct colors?

1995 S351 Engine color, type of transmission, information request!

Hello guys, Looking at a 1995 S351, naturally asperated. I would like to know:
Did these cars come with a T5 or a Tremec 3550 5spd?
What is the correct engine/oil pan color?
Was the proper rubber air intake tube a regular Ford part? (between 77mm air meter and 65mm TB)
Thanks!

Engine parts and related assemblies are a combination of "natural finish", black paint, silver paint, grey paint.

The last time Ford used blue paint on an engine was around 1980.

351

New ford grey in 95 for pan and block. closer to 97 there were some black blocks used. Remember the S351 engines were not done at Ford but an outside company:biggrin:

95-039 Is the gray block and pan. IIRC 87 vert is correct about the 97/98 cars having a different color on the block.

@speedster373 in 1995 the Tremec 3550 5 speed trans was used.
