Q: Lysholm 1600 Series IV supercharger oil change?
 

Team, I'm in the process of changing the supercharger oil on my 2003 Saleen and need some advice. (Lysholm 1600 Series IV supercharger)

What's the best way to get "all" the old oil out? I was able to hand pump out only about 3-4 oz. using the filler hole on top of the SC. ... I even jacked up the back of the car to decrease the angle but nothing else.

What's the oil capacity of the SC? is 3-4 oz seem right?

I think some people remove the supercharger from the intake manifold to drain the oil.

That seems like a ton of work just to change oil...:mad:
