Q: iPod Interface for a 2007 w/ Shaker 500?
 

I'm wondering if there is a IPOD kit available that utilizes the audio input in the center console of my 2007 which will display music info on the factory radio(shaker 500)? Also is there a way to use the steering wheel controls for audio navigation? I know of several types of kits out there and some that use the AUX as well but am not sure which way to go? Thanks

I think it displays the info. Call to make sure. Or someone on the board can confirm it does.

It plugs in my AUX, and I stream from my iPhone wirelessly. It works perfectly. CD quality sound. An economical alternative.

I have the Saleen iPod kit with my factory Navigation system and i hate it. Its hard to navigate and it doesnt work most of the time. I usually just use the input in the console if I want to listen to my iPod.

I'm using IPods for listing music during drive, but i think it is not a good practice.
