Default Q: Air entrained in SC intercooler system?

Probably an old oissue or non issue. The Saleen intercooler reservoir volume is only about 24 oz and intercooler cooling with the relatively low flow Bosch pump can sometimes lead to higher intake air temps under extended rpm loads.

My question is; Why does the Saleen intercooler reservoir design have an internal "rib" that "deflects" the return flow from the SC intercooler? This seems to cause major aeration..."creating air bubbles".... within the intercooler coolant reservoir. Surely the entrained air in the coolant is not conducive to more efficient/better cooling through the heat exchanger and may even reduce pump coolant pressure/flow.

Just curious.

P.S. Not really a problem for me as I have replaced the Saleen coolant reservoir with 128oz Moroso Intercooler tank and replaced the Bosch intercooler pump with a much higher flow pump.
