What is SOEC take on posting vids of saleen's vs other cars?

I don't support street racing, but this WAS on a public street, BUT i have many police friends and they actually closed the road for me. So there wasn't risk of padestrians or other people being on the road....

Haha, agreed. Everyone here chose to buy a high performance, fast street car for a reason. And we are ON a thread dedicated to these high powered cars. Seriously some of these people need to buy a Prius. It's an Internet forum not a political debate. I don't agree with people putting others in harms way on the streets, but **** if you have a video of a Saleen then why shouldn't you be allowed to put it on a forum dedicated to the car. Maybe this is my 24 year old immaturity talking but ****, I hate when you have to censor everything you say on here even if you disagree with someone.

DAVESIKE If we are square you can leave no one is holding you here. However you centaliny spend alot of time here therefore you must be a square too.

cameronc08 Its a respect factor not everyone has the same tolerance levels. I think SEXICAN did the right thing by asking. We do have to keep in mind this is a family friendly site so all ages, races and gender are viewing what is posted. We all purchase these cars for different reasons and the site tries to let everyone share their view. Censorship is not the word I would use for times when threads are edited or removed on either saleen site. Some things just don’t need to be posted or displayed in a public setting take that stuff off line.

I can understand and respect that. I didn't mean that we should be allowed to post whatever we want, or make inappropriate comments to people for uncessary reasons. I just think that on a SALEEN forum, we should be allowed to post anything and everything that is Saleen. If something were to be considered innappropriate maybe even make a 'VIP section' for the sake of keeping the rest of the site family friendly. Though I don't think you will find too many NSFW Saleen topics around.. The only thing I do hate is that disagreeing with others is so politically correct around here and aost frowned upon at times. But then again, that's my 24 year old personality speaking so I get where you're coming from just don't necessarily like it.

I should also add that I read alot of forums, and some are really no holds barred, I'm talking ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is acceptable. So my mind has become completely numb to what is possible on the Internet. With that said, take everything I may complain about with a grain of salt ;-)

Its all good I am pretty liberal when it comes to what is posted. I can talk with the ADIMNS to see about a more open liberal sections. There are a couple of threads that we have had reports on that could go there. We are pretty much in agreement: inappropriate, disrespectfully and harassing comments are not welcome. I say post the vids if we get reports on them we will discuss what to do.

That was a ****ty video (no disrespect towards you). I wouldn't exactly call that a 'race' or a 'closed course.' Who really knows who was actually racing and who was just given it a little gas for 15 seconds. Also, no specs on the cars. Definitely expected more for all this hype.

No it's ok, I didn't mean to sound like a d*ck towards you. Appreciate trying to show us a Saleen vid. Don't care who wins or loses I guess I just expected more for a video with all this controversy surrounding it hahaha. And that Audi is nice. AWD eliminates most of the wheel spin, while those mods on that Saleen probably saw quite a bit at the rolling start. At least mine I can't seem to get rid of wheel spin until I change some things up. Maybe I'm just a sucky driver. I like to think it's the former. :-)

All i know is the Saleen driver is doing 410's or 411 gearing or something like that.....
