Default Q: Saleen Series II EGR?

Okay so I have a 2004 mustang gt and the egr tube for the stock gt doesn't fit with the series 2 egr... Is there anyway I could custom fab an egr tube?

Anyone have one laying around I could buy? That deleted their egr?

The gt's have a straight tube and from what I heard the saleens have a kinda bent one.

I don't have one for you, but you are correct, the standard GT EGR tube doesn't fit with the series II blower. You might be able to FAB one, but buying one will probably be easier. I can take pictures of mine if need be, but I am using it here in CA...lol

If you "have" too, we can build anything.

Really! That would be awesome I've talked to some shops now and they're all scared too for some reason? Seemed wierd but how much? Like would I just buy a normal one and you guys just bend or heat it? I'm willing to do anything right now so I can pass emissions with this blower

Would I just buy a normal gt one and ship it to you guys?

You can delete your EGR and get your car tuned with an SCT Xcal and still pass emissions.

I don't know, but look at the 1996-1998 V4 Cobra. Just an idea.

What do you mean by v4? And I didn't know their egr was similar to a roots supercharged pi motor?

Mine is deleted and I have no issues with inspections. And I live in a place that is next to California as far as emissions standards is concerned. You can have the system turned off in the tune.

They don't check for emission in VA by the way. At lease in my area they don't.

Hmm you're in the Norfolk area I wouldn't mind driving down to your emissions place then once every two years...I talked to a couple shops in my area and they said "no way in hell I'd let you pass" I got that sxact quote from one shop owner.

I plan on making a few EGR tubes, I just scored a saleen piece, and would like to help those wanting the factory EGR setup, or those that want one down the road.
