Q: Best all-around rear gears?
I have a 08 saleen 5spd with alittle over 450whp , and I had 4.10 gears put in when it was stock. But know it feels like it's to much since there's more power. Especially on the Thruway and 1st is useless. If you drop it down on the Thruway it's in to high off a gear now. I was thinking of swapping to 3.55 or 3.73 gears. I drive once and awhile and track once or twice a yr

1st gear is still useless with 3.73.
If you don't drive the car, 3.73. If you do drive, 3.55. |

3.55 no doubt!

Best all around rear end gears for over 450rwhp
Im thinking of changing my 4.10 gears for 3.55s. The 4.10 s where fun when it was stock. But I have a 3.4 and longtube headers and even with drag radials it's a pain sometimes and can't really drop it down on the Thruway because it revs to high. Just wanted to see if any went from 4.10s to a different gear. It's a 5spd
